We know through the Word, through our owns experiences, and by watching God at work in other's lives that God truly does answer prayers. Well - someone needs our prayer.

Matthew 18:20
"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
James 5:14-15
Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven
Psalm 17:6
I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer.
Proberbs 15:29
The LORD is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
